🐺🐺 Wolf Howl Guided Hike 🐺🐺
Location: Big Whiteshell
Date: Friday, Aug 09 7 PM to 9 PM:
Hike along with a Park Interpreter on the Big Whiteshell hiking trail and howl for wolves. We’ll listen for their haunting calls and learn more about this iconic canine along the way. Be sure to bring water, insect repellent, and wear sturdy hiking shoes for this 1.5 km hike.
🦢🦢 Alf Hole Visitor Center 🦢🦢
Location PTH 44, 1⁄2 km east of the town of Rennie
Date: Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm
Get up close with wildlife and discover the legacy of Alf Hole, who helped ensure the survival of the Giant Canada Goose. Enjoy a coffee as you chat with a Park Interpreter, explore the interpretive exhibits and plan your Whiteshell adventures. Enjoy a hike along the 2.5km self-guiding trail to discover life around the Goose Pond.
🐟🐟 Fish Hatchery Tours 🐟🐟
Location: Whiteshell Fish Hatchery, MB-312, Whiteshell, MB R0E 2H0, Canada Date: Saturday & Sunday 10:00am to 3:00pm
Since 1942, the Fish Hatchery has supplied Manitoba anglers with a wide variety of species to catch. Explore the interpretive exhibits and join a Park Interpreter to tour the hatchery operations, receive an in-depth history of how fish stocking has evolved over the years and view over half a million trout being raised. Located on PR 312 between West Hawk and Caddy Lakes.
🛸🛸 Falcon Lake Guided UFO Hike 🛸🛸
Location: Falcon Creek Trail, Unnamed Road, Falcon Beach, MB R0E 0N0, Canada
Date: Sat, August 10, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Did you know Falcon Lake is home to one of Canada’s most famous UFO stories? Join a Park Interpreter for a hike along the 2.2 km Falcon Creek Trail. Along the way, hear the tale of the Falcon Lake UFO incident of 1967.

Looking to work at the Lake?
Falcon Trails Resort is hiring a full-time, year-round person for a combined position in housekeeping, laundry, and barista in the @owlwingcoffeehouse, starting August 28 or earlier. Join their fun and upbeat team!
This position is 32-40 hours/week, and will include some weekend work. Job responsibilities include preparing and serving specialty coffees, handling payments, cleaning and preparing cabins for guests, and washing and folding linens and towels. All necessary training will be provided.
